The Yoga and Your Health retreat offers a practical approach to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. This retreat is for those wishing to make positive changes in their lifestyle to combat the pressures of today's modern living and its impact on our health.

About the Teacher

Claudia is the Director of Samahita Wellness at Yoga Thailand. Claudia expertly guides and supports our guests through detox and wellness programs and has done so since the program's launch. She is instrumental in the ongoing development of our detox programs and the growth of our wellness center. Claudia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of complementary health and wellbeing from her holistic health and yoga center in the UK, which she ran for many years till selling in 2006. She completed her Centered Yoga Training in 2007, has taught retreats in Goa, India and on the Greek Islands and is a resident teacher here at Yoga Thailand. She has spent time in study in both Mysore with Pattabhi Jois and Sharath and also at The Kaivalyadham Yoga Institute with Sri Tiwari for pranayama. For more please see her full bio

The Daily Schedule

The schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the teacher.

 

7:00 am               Morning cleansing practices.
Herbal tea
7:30 am Intention and Day Opening
Breathwork-Pranayama and Meditation
8:15 am Asana Practice: Guided asana practice. Ashtanga Yoga Mysore style will be available for those with an established self-practice
10:00 am Breakfast of fresh fruits, juices and cereals
1:00 pm Lunch of soup, steamed vegetables, rice, salads
4:00 pm Practical sessions including: healthy cooking class, how to make your own nutritional health supplements, neti (nasal cleansing), introduction to self-massage and hand/foot reflexology talk on healthy, balanced living, discussion, Q & A
5:00 pm Restorative yoga asana and breath work
6:00 pm Dinner of soup or broth, steamed vegetables
6:00 - 9:00 pm Steam room available
7:30 pm Evening program - video, tratak, meditation

Please arrive by 5pm for a retreat welcome on the first day. Departure is by 12 noon on the last day. You are welcome to arrive early or stay on, check our residential stay rates

Upgrade to our Deluxe Suite additional cost on the total program package:

We only have two deluxe one bedroom suites located in our most private and nearest building to the sea. They have a private bedroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen, deluxe bathroom and with an extra large balcony they have the prime sea views available at Yoga Thailand. Both suites include a fully furnished living room with flat screen TV, DVD and satellite. They are perfect for a family or couple. The additional rate is a flat rate based on the room and is added on to the total rate package whether a single individual, couple or family.

All our rooms have direct sea view with their own private balcony and bathroom.
