Traditional Thai Massage Workshops with Ricardo Neuman
Thai Massage Workshop - Lower Body
This workshop shares the history, theory, and modern place of Thai massage. You will get a chance to learn and practice a basic full body treatment routine featuring stretches for the legs and palm pressing techniques, the heart of traditional practice. 3 Hours, no prerequisite.
Thai Massage Workshop - Upper Body
Class includes an overview of using the sen, or meridian lines. This workshop focuses on teaching a more detailed routine working with the shoulders, neck and head. Intensive work on the back and shoulders is followed by thumb pressure on the head and scalp. Some safe stretches for the seated position will be taught. 3 Hours, no prerequisite.
Thai Massage Workshop - Assisted Stretches
A favorite of Yoga student's, build on your knowledge of adjustments with some of the brilliant techniques that are an integral part of Thai Massage. 10 to 15 stretches, using the forearm, correct alignment and contraindications will be included. 3 Hours, no prerequisite.
One on One Classes
Each of the above workshops is available for one on one instruction. Other topics available include Thai Massage on a massage table, Therapeutic Thai Massage, and Professional Mentoring. Pricing is the same as for 1 person (see below) for each 3 hour module.
1 person: 3,500 baht +
2 persons: 2,100 baht +
3-5 persons: 1,800 baht +
6-9 persons: 1,500 baht +
10 or more: 1,000 baht +
