Ultrasound is a type of therapy used to relieve pain. It works by producing sound waves which are transmitted to a specific area of the body causing the molecules in the muscles to vibrate. This vibration creates heat deep in the muscle tissues, promoting muscle relaxation and increased circulation.

The ultrasound frequency can be adjusted to assist in the healing of a number of conditions including muscular pain, tension or spasm, sprains, joint stiffness, muscle cramps, osteo/rheumatoid arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, nerve root impingement, herniated discs, frozen shoulder.

Depending on your condition, a number of sessions may be recommended.
