About the Retreat

The Healthy Weight Loss & Yoga Retreat is designed to assist you in your transition to a healthy lifestyle bringing with it the rewards of greater health and wellbeing. By adopting a diet that is both nutritious and delicious, by embarking on a manageable exercise program, by re-educating yourself on how to eat and by addressing the cause of the weight gain long term change is possible.

The Healthy Weight Loss & Yoga Retreat is emphasized as a re-education for your body and mind. During the retreat you will experience the profound inner adjustments that are necessary for lasting change. You will also learn how to change your diet to maintain and build health over the long term. This is the most crucial element for lasting success of any weight loss endeavor. Rather than a temporary fix to an unhealthy lifestyle, by changing your underlying foundation, you will have the tools to build long-term changes into your life.

On the Healthy Weight Loss & Yoga Retreat you will enjoy:

About the Teacher

Claudia Jones

Claudia is the Director of Wellness at Samahita Retreat. Claudia expertly guides and supports our guests through healthy weight loss, detox and wellness programs and has done so since the center's launch. She is instrumental in the ongoing development of our health programs and the growth of our wellness center. Claudia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of complementary health and wellbeing from her holistic health and yoga center in the UK, which she ran for many years until selling in 2006. She completed her Centered Yoga Training in 2007, has taught retreats in India, Greece and Taiwan and is a resident teacher here at Samahita Retreat. She has spent time in study in both Mysore with Pattabhi Jois and Sharath and also at The Kaivalyadham Yoga Institute with Sri Tiwari for pranayama. For more please see her full bio

 

The Daily Schedule

The program begins at 5pm on the first day of the retreat with a group welcome and departure is at 12pm on the last day.
The schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the teacher.

7:00 am               Herbal Tea
7:15 am Intention and Day Opening
Breathwork-Pranayama and Meditation
8:00 am Asana Practice: Guided asana practice specially adapted for the Healthy Weight Loss program. Suitable for all levels of ability.
Ashtanga Yoga Mysore style will be available for those with an established self-practice
10 am Healthy Weight Loss Program Breakfast
1 pm Healthy Weight Loss Program Lunch
10 am - 3.30 pm Free time for wellness therapies, rest
3:30 - 4 pm Snack and refreshment
4 pm Educational talk on topics such as Healthy nutrition for weight loss and maintaining ideal weight, Weight management strategies for long-term success, Importance of regular exercise for weight loss and health, Overcoming limiting belief patterns and emotional eating, How and why your weight affects your health and wellbeing, discussion, Q & A
5 pm Restorative yoga asana and breath work
6 pm Healthy Weight Loss Program Dinner
6 - 9 pm Steam room available
7:30 pm Evenings are free for relaxation or enjoying therapies at the wellness center

Retreat Rates

Share two bedroom loft     € 850 per person
Single superior room     € 1050 per person

Upgrade to our Deluxe Suite additional cost on the total program package:

  • € 50 per day
  • € 320 for one week
  • € 620 for two weeks
  • € 900 for three weeks
  • € 1100 for four weeks

We only have two deluxe one bedroom suites located in our most private building closest to the sea. They have a private bedroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen, generous bathroom and an extra large balcony. Both suites offer a modern open living room with sofa bed, LCD TV, working desk and DVD/ iPod Stereo. They are perfect for a family or couple. The additional rate is a flat rate based on the room and is added on to the total rate package whether a single individual, couple or family.

Our guestrooms are set back just over 50 meters from the water to provide with you with a private community and greater security. A selection of our rooms enjoy this spectacular sea view, while others enjoy the tropical gardens scene.
