Claudia is the Director of Samahita Wellness at Yoga Thailand. Claudia expertly guides and supports our guests through detox and wellness programs and has done so since the program's launch. She is instrumental in the ongoing development of our detox programs and the growth of our wellness center. Claudia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of complementary health and wellbeing from her holistic health and yoga center in the UK, which she ran for many years till selling in 2006. She completed her Centered Yoga Training in 2007, has taught retreats in Goa, India and on the Greek Islands and is a resident teacher here at Yoga Thailand. She has spent time in study in both Mysore with Pattabhi Jois and Sharath and also at The Kaivalyadham Yoga Institute with Sri Tiwari for pranayama.
Ning
has worked as a manager in the spa and wellness field since 2006; she
is also an experienced complementary therapist and spa trainer. As Samahita
Wellness Manager, Ning is responsible for the smooth running of the Wellness
Center. Ning enjoys taking care of our guests' health and wellbeing during
their stay. Ning graduated from the University of Chiang Mai in 2001 with a
Bachelor degree in Political Science.
Aor completed her BA in Nursing at Huachiew Chalermprakiet University in Bangkok. Aor has worked in hospitals for 10 years as an Emergency Room Nurse as well as in Out Patient and In Patient Units in Bangkok and on Koh Samui. Aor practices yoga daily and has a keen interest in all areas of detox and wellness.
Wan graduated from Prince of Songkla University in 2004 with a major in
Biology. Wan worked as research assistant at Prince of Songkla hospital for
1 and half years. She went on to become an Environmental Scientist for 3
years before joining Samahita Wellness in April 2009 as Wellness
Receptionist. Wan likes to take care of our guests' needs during their stay.
Tan graduated from Ratjabhat Nakhon Pathom University in 2009 with a major in Business English. Tan's experience includes working as a Dermatologists Assistant and also as a hotel Guest Service Assistant in Koh Samui. Tan originally comes from Chiang Rai. Her interests include computer programming and talking with foreign travelers.
Pen completed her massage training at the Thai Ministry of Labor in Surathani in 2006. She further completed Therapeutic Health Massage training in Krabi. Pen has also passed certification from the Thai National Skill Standard Testing in Massage Therapy. She enjoys studying anatomy and how to apply her training and experience so that she can people with their ailments.
Jeab completed her massage therapy training at the Thai Ministry of Public Health in Koh Samui in 2007. She has been working as a therapist full time since at a spa in a Koh Samui. She loves being a therapist in order to help people with their physical problems.
Peow completed her massage training at the Thai Ministry of Labor in Suratthani in 2006. She has a certificate in Massage Therapy from the Thai National Skill Standards board. Peow like to practice yoga and loves to give massage.
Thip completed her massage training at The School of Massage for Health in Chiang Mai where she also worked for one year. She is a professional Thai Massage Therapist and Aromatherapist. Thip likes to do yoga and enjoys arts.
